Join Reverend Nafisa Sharriff and the West African Dance Class Family for Free Classes every Monday and Wednesday evenings at Countee Cullen/PS 194 and Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Promise Academy Charter School.

Countee Cullen/PS 194 is located at 244 W. 144th Street between Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. and Frederick Douglas Blvds. in Harlem, NY.  Monday is the beginner class and Wednesday is the advance class.

Promise Academy Charter School is located at 245 W. 129th Street between Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. and Frederick Douglas Blvds. also, in Harlem, NY. Both classes are mixed-level/open classes.

Reverend Nafisa Sharriff is a Master Teacher and Choreographer of Traditional West African Folklore from the Old Malian Empire. She is the recipient of the 1996 Ethnic Dance Award and numerous Community Service commemorations. Throughout her illustrious career Reverend Sharriff performed with Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, Spike Lee, TC Carson, C&C Music Factory, The Chuck Davis Dance Company & The Kairaba West African Dance Company.
